CeeLo Green is coming back into his solo spotlight, as the veteran musician releases his new track, "Brick Road." The record is the first single from the Goodie Mob member since his 2015 album, Heart Blanche, and dives into a beautiful and two-sided spectrum of selling drugs.

"Brick Road" was previously released unofficially at the end of 2017, but now fans are getting the finalized version through Empire Records. The new song from Green is produced by Vinny Venditto and YNIG. On the record, CeeLo serenades about selling and consuming drugs, making some deep, intricate metaphors about the products.

"Shot down but I levitate/An idle mind starts to contemplate," he sings. "Razor blades making lifelines/Now I'm staring at an empty plate."

At the moment, Green's duo with Danger Mouse, Gnarls Barkley, are said to be working on another album for the group, but we're not sure when we can expect it to officially arrive.

On top of releasing his latest record, CeeLo also made noise for his guest feature on Nipsey Hussle's recently-released Victory Lap debut studio album, which has received critical acclaim from the music community so far.
