Seattle Seahawks QB1 and all-around fan favorite Russell Wilson has been traded... to the New York Yankees.

Yes, the four-time Pro Bowl quarterback still has value as a baseball prospect, having played for the Tri-Cities Dust Devils in the past.

Today, the Texas Rangers traded Wilson to the Yankees for "future considerations" according to sources on Twitter, and is expected to appear at the Yankees' Grapefruit League camp in Tampa, Fla., sometime in February or March.

He is not expected to be a two-sport athlete during the NFL regular season.
